Survey Thank you to all of you who completed the survey. We had 52% of the members emailed, that completed the survey. This is really well done by you all . The winner of the $100 bar tab, chosen randomly by the surveyors is Maurice Prendergast....well done Maurice Billets I have got 6 boys coming down for our Open in June as previously stated. Thank you to the Waldvogel family for offering their home to 2 of the boys. I still need homes for 4 boys. They need to organise their accommodation urgently, so if you can help them out please advise me urgently SUPER CHAMPS 2008: 1-6 July
Clubs may enter more than 1 team per grade. (B, B2, C, D, E and F).
Women cannot be entered into a men's team. (National ruling).
The format for Super Champs 2008 has changed. This year clubs can enter up to 6 players in each team with only 4 members playing each tie. (previously it was 7 players with 5 playing each tie).
Please note this change is a National Ruling which was voted for at the Squash NZ AGM. Squash Auckland voted against this change but Squash NZ have decided to trial it this year.
The timeline this year is extremely tight. Squash Auckland's Super Champs are being held 2 weeks earlier than the suggested weekend (on the Squash NZ Calendar) to ensure the winning teams have more time to raise funds to travel to the National Super Champs.
This means tat clubs will only have 48 hours to enter teams into the Super Champs competition.
Entries will be made online through the Interclub System.
Entries Open: Monday 16th June (using the 15th June grading list)
Entries Close: Wednesday 18th June
Important: Teams that withdraw from the competition after venues have been allocated or the draws have been completed will be required to pay the entry fee.

Ross Norman Trophy
We are taking nominations again this year for the above trophy · Nominations are sought for Member’s who have made an “Outstanding Contribution to the Panmure Squash Club” over the year · Eligibility is not limited to a member’s squash playing achievements and a variety of services to the club may be recognized · Final selection will be made at the discretion of the ManagementCommittee and in consultation with Ross · 2008 Nominations are to be forwarded to Pam by 1st June · Nominations must include the Name of your Nominee and adescription of their “Outstanding Contribution” · The Fifth presentation of this Trophy will be made at the Club ChampsPrize Giving on 7th June, 2008 Previous winners Vaughn Miller, Bryan Wentworth, Gary Lyons, John Bird Gym Equipment I am still in the process of renewing all the equipment. It will be replaced as soon as the purchase can be made |
