Thanks to Tessa Anderson for organizing the fun tourny and to Keith Littmoden for organizing his 3rd Calcutta tournament. These two events are for all grades, so come and join in on them and meet more people from the club

 

Senior club champs start tonight at 5.30pm. Prize giving will be on Saturday after the final game

 

The new equipment has been ordered for the gym and should be here by the end of the month. Some of the gear is still on the water making its way to Auckland. We will get rid of the old gear then have the gym carpets cleaned, lights & curtains fixed before we install the new gear, so there could be 2 or 3 days when there is no gear in there.

We would like to ask for volunteers to help out on the Management Committee, any one that is interested please give me a call. It does not take up a lot of time.

 

Does anyone know of a person who would be interested in doing some odd jobs around the club. It would ideally suit someone that is retired. At the moment I am trying to do everything, but I just do not have the time to change light bulbs, put locks on toilet doors, clean windows, get rid of graffiti etc. Please give me a call if you can help.

 

I am still issuing these cards, so please ask me for one when you see me

I have put a note book on the main notice board in the club lounge. If you see anything that needs doing, could you please write it in the book. Please date it and put your name to it. (It has been up for a week and someone has already gone thru it and scribbled on about 20 pages). Or you could just email me instead of putting it in the book.

We are going to have court 2 sanded in the next couple of weeks to see how it comes up. If its ok then we will do all of the courts in the near future. The court markings will all be renewed at that time.

 

Bar prices will increase as of the 1st July. With an increase of 6%, there is no way we can hold down the prices. Everyone is in the same boat unfortunately.
