Lagoon News - August 08

Firstly, I apologise for the lack of a newsletter last month, but things just turned to custard for me personally.

Gym

The new gym equipment has been installed with two more pieces of equipment still to come. We are having a few technical problems with some of the machines, of which may be going to be replaced, if  they can't be fixed.

I am a little concerned about the way the moveable items are being left strewn over the floor. I have

Had a complaint from a frequent user of the gym, that things are not being put back on shelves and

just left lying around. This equipment took a lot of effort to obtain, for you to use, so please can it be looked after, and therefore be considerate to those who will use the gym after you

Thank you

Private Function

This will be held on the 28th November at Howick Golf Club at Music Point. Starting time is 12noon

with a shot gun start. If anyone has anything they wish to donate for prizes, could you send me an email please, so that Tessa and I can start organizing things

Men's Changing Room

For the person/s who complained about no hot water to the hand basin, I'm sure you've found, that we have had this re-connected. It is a shame, that we only seem to hear complaints and not complements.

Skate Boarders

We are having problems with kids using our front entrance way as a skate board park. If you see kids over here, can you please send them on their way. The front entrance was a mess on Monday

Morning from them being here on Sunday. The had put a piece of pipe around the front from at the

Side. There was foam out of the bin broken and tossed around and the milk crates were thrown

around the entrance. As I'm typing this, I have had to send three more kids away.
