Working Bee
This has been set down for Sunday 1st March 11am, this will be followed by a BBQ. Please support the club and lend a hand, this only happens once a year and many hands make light work. If you can think of anything that requires doing around the club, please let me know.
Club Calendar
I am in the process of having this years calendar put on the web site, we are trying a new process for this so, will have it uploaded as soon as possible.
Drink Vending Machine
Friday 9th we will be installing a new vending machine outside court 3. This will now vend water and powerade and a few other drinks. Powerade will not be sold over the bar in future.
Bar Opens
The bar will reopen on Thursday 22nd January.
Club Night Starts
Thursday 5th March, 7pm. All welcome.
Women In Squash
This is a new initiative for this year, to try to encourage more females to come down to the club. One Thursday a month, there will be 3 courts on club night allocated to just females. This costs $10 per night for two hours of coaching and fun. If you would like to be involved in this please, let me know. Michele Moore will be taking these evenings.
We would also like to start a 6 week course for beginners to show them the ins and outs of playing squash. Hopefully we will be able to do several of these during 2009 thru the week.
I trust 2009 will be a fantastic year for all
Kind Regards
